CHAPTER FRIEND

The Richmond Chapter is pleased to offer membership at the Chapter level for persons who are interested in organ and organ music, who support the purposes of
the Guild and are not organists or choral conductors. Known as Chapter Friends, such members might include enthusiasts, organ students, piano teachers or
students, or clergy members.

A Chapter Friend is eligible to participate in all local Chapter events, and to receive group emails and the monthly newsletter of the Chapter. Friends are also
listed in the Chapter’s Directory (issued about 3 times a year) and are allowed access to restricted areas on the Chapter’s website.

Friends are not eligible to hold elected leadership offices in either the National or the Chapter levels, and are not eligible to vote in the elections at either level.
Subscriptions to the Guild’s monthly magazine, The American Organist, are available separately from Friend membership. Friends can serve in Chapter
leadership roles in the work of committees, programs, or projects, where appointed or volunteered.

The dues amount for Friend membership is $35 per year. Membership terms are annual, with renewals effective on the original membership date. Invoice for
renewals are sent by the Chapter Treasurer before the annual renewal date.

Persons interested in becoming a Chapter Friend should contact the Treasurer., Kenna Payne at 1-804-512-5804 or kennajohnp@aol.com
